Machines  that cannot be accessed over the network


Keeping in mind  that the IP on XSM is the last IP that it successfully reported on and is NOT  LIVE DATA


Ideally get a  config report printed and sent to us, alternatively get the full IP config from  the machine control panel over the phone and populate into the XSM ticket.



Having received  the config report or retrieved the current iP config over the phone:


If a machine is  on a static IP that cannot be connected to – put the machine on DHCP and reboot  it then generate a new config report and see if that IP can be accessed.
